ABOUT

I actually live and work here in BGC, and through your stay in this space that I’ve lovingly decorated, I hope you will come to love the area just as much as I do! I am also a frequent traveler and online entrepreneur, so I am almost always available online. Please always feel free to contact me via the AirBnB messaging platform (it’s the fastest way to reach me!) and I will try my best to reply as soon as possible.

Thanks again and I hope your stay would be as comfortable as possible!

All the best,
Aileen

FROM THE AIRPORT. For your ease and safety, it’s best to book  your ride via the ‘Grab’ app (UBER no longer services the Philippines). You can book the airport taxis, but for a better rate as well as for your convenience and safety, I recommend getting a Grab booking instead.

NINOY AQUINO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.
Terminal 1: 10.1 km (30 mins) / Terminal 2: 10. 3 km (28 mins) / Terminal 3: 6.3 km (21 mins)

⚠️ CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS (KEYS, PARKING, LUGGAGE, ETC.)

Check-in time is 3:00PM onwards. With the self-check in procedure below, you can arrive any time after 3PM. For your peace of mind too, the building has a 24-hour security and lobby staff at your assistance. (NOTE: When arriving by taxi or car, just say ‘Room 19L‘ to the guard at the entrance. Once you’re inside the lobby, just mention your name as well as the room name to the receptionist and that’s it!)

I can accommodate an early check-in, but this highly depends on the unit’s occupancy. So please send me a message and I can advise you if it is possible for your stay or not.

If you do arrive early in BGC but not granted an early check-in by me, the building has a comfortable lounge area for your use. Otherwise, there are luggage counters at the following locations:
Lock & Leave at Venice Grand Canal Mall, McKinley Hill (Php 300/day for big items or Php 100/day for small items)
Luggage & More at Terminal 3, Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Php 350/day for big items or Php 300/day for small luggage

Self check-in instructions
. To get your room keys, please proceed to the mailbox room which is found at the right side of the lobby. In there, look for the compartment marked as 19L (capital letter L) and inside it you will find a black lockbox. To open, simply enter the four combination numbers that I will send you via Airbnb.

LobbyLockboxNow, inside this lockbox, you will notice that there are 2 sets of the key. Please leave the other one (and then re-lock the box) so that it can be a spare in case you lock yourself out — otherwise, you can also take it with you if you want.

Just make sure to put BOTH keys back in the lockbox when you check out, and then re-lock the box by setting the code to 0000. (If you lose a key, please let me know ASAP.)

To go up to the unit…

Room Instructions

…room 19L is at the end of the corridor.

Parking. There are two paid parking spaces near Icon Plaza, with the nearest being RCBC as it’s just beside the condo.
RCBC Corporate Center: Php40 (less than $1~) for first 4 hours and Php10 for succeeding hours
The Fort Strip on 28th St.: Php50 ($1~) in the first 3 hours and Php50 for succeeding hours

Another option is The W Fifth Avenue where it has a flat rate of Php200 ($4~) for overnight parking. For more information about parking in BGC, you can go to this link.
.

Wanna avail extra cleaning services? I can definitely provide this service upon request for a small fee — especially if you’re staying for more than a week. Just send me a message and I’ll arrange it according to your request(s).

⚠️ CHECK-OUT INSTRUCTIONS (REMINDERS, DAMAGES, ETC.)

Check out is any time before 12PM. I can allow a late checkout but once again, it depends on the place’s occupancy. As always, kindly send me your request so we can work it out together.

Meanwhile, when you leave, there’s no need for you to clean extensively (since that’s what the cleaning fee is for!) — but if you damage the apartment in any way, smoke inside the room, or leave any huge stains on the bedding or towels, you will be charged. Please get in touch with me immediately if any of these happens.
.

Reminders before you leave.

  • Please return any furniture or item in the apartment (that you might have moved) back to its original location
  • Switch off the air conditioning unit, TV and room lights
  • Recheck the room in case you leave any valuables — I will not be held liable in case any of your items go missing
  • Please lock the door and put the keys back in the mailbox’s lockbox found on the lobby floor. Please also make sure to re-lock the lockbox after you’ve returned these keys by setting the code to 0000.
  • If you could, kindly send me a message once you have left the condo unit.

.
Important tips upon departure.

  • Weekday rush hours (7-9AM and 6-8PM) can get insane in BGC, so I recommend leaving around 3 to 4 hours before your flight. This is to ensure you don’t get stuck in traffic.
  • For your ease and safety, it’s best to book via the ‘Grab’ app. (UBER no longer services the Philippines).

.

House Rules

– NO smoking in and out of the apartment, this is also as per the building’s rules
– NO parties or events without my prior approval
– NO pets please
– NO loud noises from 10PM to 7AM as courtesy to our neighbours
– NO illegal activities of any sort

If you fail to follow any of these house rules or break any item/furniture in the apartment, you may be penalized, be asked to reimburse damage to the property, be charged for an extensive cleaning fee or even be evicted before scheduled check out. I dearly hope for your kind understanding to follow these simple rules.

* * * * *

The following is in tabbed format. Just click the headings to navigate through the sections.

Building Amenities. During your stay, please feel free to use the following hotel-like amenities that are located at the 11th floor of the building.

  • Infinity Pool: open from 6AM until 10PM
    • 4 people maximum in the pool per condo unit (the building will ask for Php200 fee for every additional person)
  • Gym: open from 6AM until 10PM

For peace of mind, there is also a 24-hour security and lobby staff at the first floor of the building who you can easily reach by pressing the key icon button on the wall-mounted intercom (found beside the TV). Please take note that the doorbell sound also comes out from this same intercom — the difference is that the screen lights up  if it’s a call that’s coming from the lobby.

Laundry. I have NOT provided washing machines in the room — however…

  • Laundry service is quite cheap in BGC costing at about Php100 ($2~) only per kilo. Just contact +63 945 321 3055  (3Gel) to schedule pick-up of your laundry.
  • Otherwise, there is a self-cleaning laundromat called Lualhati Laundry that’s found on the 3rd Floor of the The Fort Strip on 7th Avenue.
    .

Water. Tap water is NOT safe to drink in BGC. Please only drink from the water dispenser in the room as it is safe and replenished regularly by our cleaning crew. In case you finish the whole water jug during your stay, just contact +63 945 321 3055  (3Gel) to order a round water jug replacement without faucet.

  • The dispenser can serve water hot or cold; but you need to turn the switches on first (located at the back). Rest assured, it will only take a few minutes for it to start dispensing hot/cold water.
    .

Bank, ATM & Money Exchanges. Just right below the building are the following banks with ATM machines:

  • Chinabank
  • RCBC

If you want to exchange your money for Philippine Peso currency, the banks can also do it for you. There are also money exchange counters such as Globex Foreign Exchange at Forbestown Road or Sanry’s Money Exchanger at the 2nd floor of the mall called as Market! Market! (McKinley Parkway near Serendra).
.

Supermarkets & Convenience Stores. Just 10 minutes away is Robinsons Selections which is a small supermarket. If you want bigger ones or if you have items that you didn’t find at Robinsons’ store, just head on over to SM Supermarket at SM Aura, or Metro Supermarket at Market! Market!. For 24-hour service, there is a 7-Eleven shop just behind the building.
.

Deliveries. In case you don’t want to leave the apartment and just want to chill, you can order for food via FoodPanda.ph. They have a wide selection of restaurants that offer various cuisines. But if you want to order groceries instead, check out MetroMart.com (this link gives you free Php 100 credits!).
.

Massage/Spa Services. There is no shortage of wellness establishments in BGC and my favorites are The Spa Wellness at 9thAvenue and Breeze Oriental Spa at 31st St.. If you rather want to avail a massage service at a more affordable rate, you can book a home service via the Zennya app.
.

Hospital & Pharmacy. There is a state-of-the-art hospital on the 32nd St. called as St. Luke’s Medical Center – Global City, and it’s just a 15-minute walk away from the building. There is already a pharmacy inside this hospital; but if you just want something that’s nearer to the apartment, head on over to Watsons at Forbeswood Parklane.
.

Police. Hopefully, you won’t ever have the need to visit these guys. But if you do, there is a nearby outpost called ‘BGC Police Community Precinct‘ that’s just a 3-minute walk away.

National emergency: 911
Fire: 117 or (02) 837 0740

.

Entrance Hall. Please put away your shoes by the door and use the FREE in-house slippers I’ve provided. In case of bad weather, there are also umbrellas. After use, kindly dry them out first before storing them back in.
.

  • Hair dryer
  • Hair iron
  • Clothes iron

  • Emergency rechargeable flashlight
  • Emergency rechargeable fan
    .

It also has a Netflix subscription that you can access by clicking the corresponding button on the remote control(s) so that you can view thousands of movies and shows for FREE (there are programs for kids too!).

RemotesThere are also some helpful items that you can find inside the TV’s wall shelf, namely:

  • An HDMI cable
  • An extension cord
  • Game items

Take note that standard electric voltage in the Philippines is at 220V at 60hz. Before plugging your devices, please check first that they’re compatible with the voltage to avoid damaging your device. Most consumer devices are dual voltage these days, but certain high wattage items are usually not (so check first!).

(If the lobby calls you, just press the speaker button to answer.)

Intercom.

Work Area. Just beside the bedroom is an ample office space with a proper office chair — perfect for when you have some work to catch up on!

Shower. The shower dispenses both hot and cold water. Give it a bit of time if it doesn’t feel hot yet — otherwise, if it’s not working at all, give us a message and we’ll try our best to fix it.
.

Towels. Rest assured, there will be fresh towels for each guest during your stay.
.

Toiletries. Apart from shampoo, conditioner and body wash, we have also provided some simple toiletries for you to use.
.

Toilet. Unfortunately, plumbing in the Philippines is not the same as in the west. So, please do NOT flush tissues, diapers, sanitary napkins, tampons, wipes, or any trash (apart from human waste) into the toilet. I have provided a waste bin so please use that to dispose rubbish with. Anyhow, if the toilet gets clogged, please use the plunger. If it still doesn’t solve the problem, let me know and I’ll send my cleaning crew ASAP.
.

Laundry. I have NOT provided washing machines in the room — however…

  • Laundry service is quite cheap in BGC costing at about Php100 ($2~) only per kilo. Just contact +63 945 321 3055  (3Gel) to schedule pick-up of your laundry.
  • Otherwise, there is a self-cleaning laundromat called Lualhati Laundry that’s found on the 3rd Floor of the The Fort Strip on 7th Avenue.
    .

Extras. For your convenience, I have also provided a hair blower and hair iron (they will be found inside the master closet just outside the bathroom).

Kitchenette. You will find all the necessary cooking and dining items in the kitchen area’s cupboards and drawers.
.

Water. Tap water is NOT safe to drink in BGC. Please only drink from the water dispenser in the room as it is safe and replenished regularly by my cleaning crew. In case you finish the whole water jug during your stay, just contact +63 945 321 3055 (the shop is called 3Gel) to order a round water jug replacement without faucet:

  • The dispenser can serve water hot or cold; but you need to turn the switches on first (located at the back). Rest assured, it will only take a few minutes for it to start dispensing hot/cold water.
    .

Trash. The trash can is located under the sink. If it gets full, just take the bag out and dispose it at the garbage room located beside the fire exit that’s just outside the room. (It’s technically a water pump room and if there are no bins, just place the trash bags on the floor). You can find new rubbish bags in a container just beside the trash can.

Garbage Room.

Extras. We will also be providing you with some extras for your consumption, and we hope you’d like them!

Main Bedroom. Features a comfortable king-sized bed!
.

Bunk Bed. This area can be used by an adult — but it’s a lot more perfect for a child! Kindly exercise caution though when going up and down the stairs as it is a bit steep. The ceiling is also low but it has enough space for a comfortable sleep. (If it gets hot, feel free to use the emergency rechargeable fan found inside the closet).
